面包布丁 Bread Pudding

看到麵包今天到期了,丟掉很浪費,靈機一動,就弄了這面包布丁,作為家人的下午茶小吃。Looking at the unfinished loaf of bread, which expiry date is today, thinking what should i do instead of giving it to mr.dustbin. So here it is, an afternoon tea time snack for my family ^___^

我愛麵包布丁,在酒店自助餐吃的麵包布丁通常都是濕濕的軟軟的,很喜歡。在网上找到的食譜圖片卻看起來都是干的。不要緊囉,就先試試這食譜,自己也稍改一點成份,看看弄出來的是不是我要的。I love bread pudding very much, what i had @ hotel buffet are normally very moist/wet and soft, yet from all recipes i found online, the pictures show the bread pudding looks dry. I still have to try right, since i love it so much. I picked one of the easiest one, change abit the ingredients, and lets see whats the outcome loh (,")

結果哩?超香,超好吃,它的口感剛好就是我要的軟,很高興啊,哈哈。。寶寶也喜歡。。,The pudding: super nice, super super love the texture which is the right soft texture i wanted always, and im so happy with this tea time snack, hahaha, just love it... and my bb charlize loves it too...

Ingredients:
~ 5-6 slices of bread 面包
~ 4 beaten eggs 打散的雞蛋
~ 2tbsp melted butter 2湯匙溶化了的牛油
~ 2cups fresh milk 鮮奶
~ 1/2 cup sugar 糖
~ 1tsp ground cinnamon 1茶匙肉桂粉
~ 1tsp vanilla essence 1茶匙香草精
~ some strawberry chocolate chip 一些草莓巧克力粒 (can replace with raisin, 可以用葡萄乾取代)

Method:
1) preheat oven at 160° 預熱烘爐
2) tear breads into small pieces into 8" square tin 把麵包撕小塊擺放在8" 正方形烤盤裡
3) drizzle with melted butter 淋上溶化了的牛油
4) sprinkle some chocolate chip 灑上巧克力粒
5) in a mixing bowl, combine well eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla essence. 把雞蛋,鮮奶,糖,肉桂粉和香草精攪拌均勻
6) pour the mixture over the bread, let the bread soak in it. 倒入面包烤盤,掩蓋面包
7) use a fork to slightly press the bread 用叉輕輕的壓下麵包
8) bake for 45minutes 烘45分鐘 (bake longer if you prefer crunchy texture 如果喜歡脆口感可以烘久點)

Drizzle melted butter 淋上溶化了的牛油


Sprinkle chocolate chip 灑上巧克力粒


The mixture of milk, egg, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla essence  雞蛋+鮮奶+糖+肉桂粉+香草精


Pour over the bread 倒在麵包上面


Use a fork to slightly press the bread               用叉壓下麵包


In the oven 在烘爐裡


Risen up 升高了


Higher, and the smell... mmm... 更高更香了♥


Tadaa.... 登場囉。。。
